Bob's Time Computer Story

Shown above is a photo of the original Hamilton Watch and Clock Factory in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Time Computer Corporation’s offices and watch manufacturing facilities was also located in this building.

Initial Design Concept

Bob worked with several watch makers and outside artists in an effort to come up with a vision of what the new watch/calculator would look like. Here is a photo of the agreed upon design. In over one year, we were able to develop the working prototype.

Working Prototype

From bench testing to pre-fabrication, this model is the one and only working watch/calculator. and it is on display at the National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc. Museum in Columbia, PA.

18-kt. Gold Production Model

One hundred serially numbered models of the watch shown above, each in a solid 18 -kt. gold case with matching solid 18-kt. gold bracelet was available in time for Christmas 1975 at the price of $3,950.

The Digital Watch/Calculator was invented fifty years ago in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

Shown above is a remarkable unit small enough to wear on your wrist. The stainless steel model sold for $300.
